Amelia B. Jones, professionally known as Meme B. Jones, born November 19, 1991 to Sandra and Joseph Jones. Born and raised in Rochester, NY. Meme grasped the love of music and started singing at the young tender age of five. While being born into a musical family Meme knew very young that becoming a singer was her destiny. While growing up in the church Meme expanded her musical gifts by tapping into other aspects such as songwriting and playing the drums. But it was always something about singing that kept her striving to pursue her dream to become an entertainer. Meme continued to train herself in singing by attending Eastman School of Music and became a frequent participant in talent shows, contest, church functions, and many local programs. At the age of 16, Meme with continued success moved to Huntsville, AL where she is now residing. Meme B. Jones is a faithful member at Hope Community Church where Dr. Charles E. Rodgers is Bishop. Her favorite scripture is from Psalms 30:5 which states, “For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes in the morning”. Although, Meme B. Jones enjoyed singing R&B Soul she knew that it was not her calling and purpose in life. At the young age of 21 she realized that God had given her a gift of singing to minister to his people. Meme’s voice is not only a gift from God, but a gift that she wants the world to experience; Rich, soulful and soothing are a few adjectives that will best describe the New Voice in Gospel.
